Role of the PDO

The Professional Development Officer shall: (a) advise prospective members of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) as to qualifications, purposes, and programs of the Institute, the Institute Code of Professional Responsibility, the Guidelines for Social Responsibility, of the Planner and the Rules of Reference to Institute Membership, and: (b) advise members of the American Institute of Certified Planners concerning opportunities and/or requirements for continuing education and professional development.
